Behind the inventory
Where the listings come from.
Carventory reads dealership websites on a daily schedule and stores what it finds. Searching never contacts a dealership. This directory shows included dealerships and verified gaps. Unconfirmed businesses, closed locations and duplicate names stay in our research records.
- Scans begin daily at 6 a.m. Eastern (5 a.m. Winnipeg time). A failed scan never removes vehicles.
- Listings link back to the dealer’s own page. Dealers do not pay for placement.
- Private sales on Kijiji or Marketplace are not included.
Dealerships
Coverage and regional research
Our initial region is Northwestern Ontario. The directory also includes dealerships in Algoma, including Sault Ste. Marie and Wawa. Manitoba coverage includes the Winnipeg area and verified dealerships near Steinbach, Portage la Prairie and Brandon.
Being included means we have imported inventory, not that every vehicle or every dealership in the region has been found. Partial scans are labelled. New Manitoba sources appear in batches after validation. Research and integration gaps remain visible here.
